"For the first time ever we adopted a dog from the SPCA. Never having had a dog before, I was clueless about dog-dog aggression. Our dog, Brownie is a most excellent companion around people, but he does not like other dogs. We began working with a trainer who loaned us her Spray Commander. It was wonderful! It eliminated our fear that Brownie would lunge at other dogs or bark and growl. The collar was also non punitive. We didn't need to electrocute him to get his attention.
